There are words we say so often in worship that we've nearly stopped hearing them — grace, mercy, faith, hope. They're as familiar as a favorite hymn, and in that very familiarity it's easy to forget how much they carry.
This fall, we're slowing down to take them one at a time. We'll lift up a single word each week starting with grace and continue all the way to hope. Come along and bring your whole week with you —the good and the bad— you may find these aren't just churchy words, but words that speak truth to our innermost being.
