Many of the nonprofits in town had their start right in this church.  We partnered with Knox College to start Blessings in a Backpack. The Jack Larson Shoe Project, Christian Churches Helping Neighbors (CCHN), Galesburg FISH, and Habitat for Humanity all got their starts with our members and support.  Some groups even got their start in our building or, even, as our ministry!  We are proud to be ecumenical.  We invite other congregations to join with us in service to God and community so that more hands and resources can affect more lives with greater impact!
