This isn't your father's hanging of the greens ;-) This Advent season, our worship series invites us to Come Home for Christmas and we’ll begin that journey together by making our church feel like home.
On Sunday, November 30, our 10:00 a.m. worship service will include a special Hanging of the Greens celebration. Together, we’ll transform our sanctuary for the Advent season, filling it with light, color, and meaning as we prepare room for Christ.
This year, we’re inviting everyone to bring your own home to share! Bring some ornaments from your own tree. ornaments that tell a story, hold memories, or simply bring joy!
During worship, we’ll decorate the sanctuary trees with these ornaments, creating a display of love and faith drawn from the homes of our congregation. You’re also welcome to bring strings of popcorn or cranberries if you’d like to add a homemade touch to our sanctuary!
As the trees are decorated and advent candles are lit...our sanctuary will become a reflection of who we are: a people gathered by grace and united in love! Join us on November 30 as we kick off the Come Home for Christmas series with warmth, joy, and a spirit of homecoming. There’s a place for everyone!
